DIS, CAM-CCBC & CIETAC

Arbitration and Enforcement Proceedings in the Age of EU-Sanctions and the Russian Lugovoy Law

Arbitration and Enforcement Proceedings in the Age of EU-Sanctions and the Russian Lugovoy Law

In person

You are cordially invited to a joint event in the framework of the Hamburg International Arbitration Days 2026 on sanctions in international arbitration – a topic that increasingly shapes the strategy, conduct, and even viability of arbitral proceedings.

In this high-profile event organised by DIS, CIETAC and CAM-CCBC, leading experts will address, among other issues, the enforcement of Russian Lugovoy judgments in India, Brazil and China and the broader implications of far-reaching sanctions regimes for cross-border dispute resolution.

The speakers will focus on the practical impact of sanctions on parties, counsel, institutions and arbitrators, discussing how to navigate restrictions on payments, representation and enforcement while preserving the effectiveness and legitimacy of arbitration and ensuring continued access to neutral fora in an era of geopolitical fragmentation.

Please register by 16 March 2026 via the link below. By registering you accept the DIS General Terms and Conditions for Conferences and Workshops.
